THE LEADER IN ME
Description
In North Carolina, A.B. Combs Elementary went from being a school in dire need of Improvement to being recognized as the #1 Magnet School in America. In Canada, Joseph Welsh Elementary was already a top-performing school, yet in one year parent satisfaction with what their children were being taught leaped from 67 to 98 percent. In Brazil, Abril Educação foresaw tremendous impact on the country's future workforce and has since implemented The Leader in Me in more than one hundred schools. In Texas, a progressive district has expanded its vision to teaching leadership principles in 40 of its schools. Similar outcomes are occurring throughout Asia, the South Pacific, South America, Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Africa. What do these schools have in common?
